Why I use DataCamp

DataCamp is an online learning platform that teaches a variety of data skills. These include courses on Python, R, SQL, Tableau, Power BI, Oracle SQL, Scala, Excel, spreadsheets.

I use this platform to learn these programming languages and technologies, but I use it especially to improve my data literacy and my data analysis skills. Even if I won’t specialize as a Data Scientist I believe the modern business world requires everyone to know how to analyze, understand and manipulate data. Data is everywhere and everything generates new data every single day, but the analysis of this data often requires specialized knowledge. Can a Data Scientist analyze biological data? No, a biologist has to train his data skills and then apply them to his field.

So I am learning how to harness data to my advantage, and in the meantime learning about new and different aspects of programming.
